Hey guys, I just found out The ACT (where I live) have now phased out gassed installations for new buildings this year as a law has just passed on it, I’m not sure how well that would work, especially in commercial installations that need instant hot water for processes and stuff like that and I know this may sound like a very specific case, what about laundromats As generally almost each and every laundromat will be using a LPG/natural gas dryer so would it ever be possible to have large commercial electric tumble dryers That can drive your average load in 30 minutes

California also is set to ban installation of gas water heaters and furnaces by 2030. And, in the Bay Area, that's been advanced to 2027 for the gas water heaters.

The gas furnace at my home is probably about 30 years old. It's running fine, but if it goes out there could be a big bill to replace with electric and/or some sort of heat pump system.
