No More Whirlpool Portable dishwashers?

Forgot to add in my last post though, that one thing I don't like about electronic controls is the absence of most clicking noises. My Miele will make faint clicks between the tumbles, however nothing can beat constant clicking and every now and then a loud "clunk" as the timer moves on!

WP portable DW

I cannot swear to this, but John told me that the current Maytag tall tub portable is going to be WP's as well. When and if that happens, I have plans.

I am still using my KDS-58, convertible 18 Superba that I bought in 1977.

Great if WP takes Maytag's tall-tub as their own and puts some decent racking in it, I'm all for it!

Lawd knows their tall-tub ain't worth snot!

They are back!!! The portables are back on the Whirlpool web site. Not sure what is going on.

No, The 940 is the same one I bought in Sept of 2005. No visible changes anyway.

Novisible changes, the letters are slightly different. Reflecting similar changes with other lines of appliances in the WP stable.

Steve told me he preferred flat straight racks with no cut-outs, as opposed to muli-leveled terraced racks.

BTW..I am reading him the site as he drives back to LI from CT in a snowstorm......LOL(biting nails)
