Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support :

I had a Norge that was pretty much the same design, obviously the same machine with different names. It was one of the best machines we ever had, only wish I still had it, left it when I moved. My Whirlpool made Kenmore Elite top loader eats clothes, UNLIKE the Norge, which had a great wash action to circulate clothes, but was not rough on the clothes. Had I known how bad the Kenmore was on clothes, I would have kept my Norge, especially now that we cannot get a machine like this anymore. It is a shame the design was done away with. My Norge gave great service, washing for a family of 5, every day loads, for years. My mom's machine lasted over 20 years and was still going strong when she gave it away 2 years ago when moving. This was before Maytag fooled around with the design and seemed to ruin it.

Downy® Balls

I have six of these little contraptions and used two of them this morning for doing two loads. I filled the Downy® Balls with the fabric softener liquid and placed them in each basket of laundry to be washed. "Pour it! Pull It! Toss It!" LOL!--Laundry Shark

Balls to the Wall!

*Another week, another load of wash hangs in the bathroom.* ...Even when doing laundry. Write me off list and I can share that classic tune by Accept.--Laundry Shark
