Norge (Fedders) A/C Find

I had found this Norge air conditioner that looks like it was owned or made by Fedders in Edison, NJ. I was hoping to find out age and any other details about this awesome a/c.

And lastly, the whole unit with shredded air filter on top. Figured I could just fabricate a piece out of some foam at Lowes or Home Depot. I grabbed it and it just fell apart.

So basically I was hoping to find out who really made this (Fedders owned them but Norge was still an actual Norge made unit like before being bought by Fedders, etc.) and if it is remotely possibly to get some sort of info like a service and/or user manual. It was standing on end on the condenser and was subject to some light rain.

Remember Those Units From My Childhood

Fedder's ACs were big in the NYC area.

Pumps out nice cold air, and can cool down a room pronto.

This was made by Fedders. I had this same unit in an apartment that I rented many years ago. It was badged Fedders. Very cold air!!!!
You can still get the filters at Lowes and HD. You just cut to fit.

growing up we had Norge window units but they were are marked Warn-Borg?

Borg Warner. Norge is Norwegian for Norway.
