I wonder if Norge offered those in gas.

I don’t believe they did from what I can see on the spec sheet. They did in the Slim Line models with the top mounted controls. This one for sale would be model LDE1081A-17. They were convertible to 240 volt operation.

Thank you. I knew about the slim line models and wondered about these like if someone wanted this model in gas with controls mounted on the front, but able to be mounted over the washer.

Are you sure the Norge stowaway you picked up not long ago isn't gas?

The dryer was the Slim Line model and it is indeed gas. The washer is the Stow Away model.
