that's right!

In the interest of good US-Canadian relations I HAD to get it back there! Tell Chris that he would love it in the apartment, such a soothing sound......... like white noise..

like white noise

Yeah, white, like the water going over Niagra Falls.

Ken, virgins are overrated except for straight men who view women as possessions. Someone experienced at the job usually performs better.

Thank you Steve for the disposer information.

Love is Blind

My enchantment with Frigidiare simply knows no bounds.  My first experience was buying a used 1959 spin tube and installing in my parent's home while I was in high school.  My first dishwasher was a used 1964 wood top portable.  When I began remodeling and owning homes I used Frigidaire until 1978. We never encountered any issues with cleaning as long as the machine was loaded properly.  With the advent of multiple racking and rapid advance controls the Pots and Pans or Soak cycles seemed to take on anything.  In 1980 when GM was no longer available the switch to Maytag reverse racks lasted the next 10 years until they became "normal".  Even then Maytags have been the machine of choice although a few new GEs and a few vintage Kitchenaids have a had a whirl.  I currently have a vintage Frigidaire top loader and 1-18 gifts from pdub waiting until the garage is relinquished from the remodel and connections installed to play with them.

I didn't realize that Youngstown made dishwashers as la

Robert, I vaguely remember when my parents began looking at houses (so this had to be 1960 to 1961), therer was one dishwasher I remember that was pink.  I remember it had a wierd over-size 3-sided type of starburst pattern on the front of it.  I saw a front-loading youngstown ad or brochure on here one time and knew that that was exactly what the dishwasser I saw when I was so little, a front-loading Youngstown.

Awesome! Thanks for sharing the brochures! Such a neat read, I always love reading and the brochures people post on this site. That Youngstown dishwasher looks very similar to Norge DWs around that time. Did Norge buy out Youngstown or did they share machines?

How does the wash tower compare to spray arms? Is the wash time shorter or longer than a spray arm set up?
