My dad owned restaurants for 40+ years, fridges like this (and larger) are common in the industry.
 
We'd definitely have room for that in our kitchen....

If we got rid of the cooktop, oven, and half of the counterspace. We might need a home equity line of credit to pay the power bill, however ;-)
 
Up until I was about sixteen my grandmother had this in her kitchen.

That Frigidaire...

...Was for the houses of the wealthy, who did a lot of entertaining, plus had staff to feed. Semi-commercial equipment like this used to be common in big, upscale houses. There were ranges (like some Chambers models) that were huge, with eight burners and two ovens and a broiler and a warming shelf. Back then, being rich meant having a cook who knew her stuff.
