So I have been buying online lately, never had any problems. Last month, a package from Macy's was lost by UPS. According to their tracking number the package had been delivered, left on my front porch.
I never saw it...I reported the lost package to both Macy's and UPS.
Macy's was helpful, UPS not.
That one was resolved.
On 12/6 I won a Eureka Express canister from ebay, and as of this morning it had still not arrived, so I decided to send the seller a little email and see if it had been shipped yet. Looking at the ebay listing I see a "track shipment" button which led me to a UPS tracking number.
The tracking number said the package had been delivered 12/19 at 1:03pm and left on the front porch.
There was no package when I got home from work.
For the 2nd time in a month, something has vanished off my porch in broad daylight.
I got upset, and threw a fit at UPS, namely because they do nothing, their standard line is "you'll have to contact the shipper..."
I went postal and demanded some service today, as the paying customer I wanted something more than "I'm Sorry"
it also really bothers me that UPS just drops stuff with no signature required, and even more disturbs me that there are people who would swipe a package from someone without even knowing whats inside.
Makes me wonder what else is missing...
