Oh right. I thought the one I have is a current model. Its exclusive in John Lewis.

I don't know if it's quite the Ultima's, Primes & Aqualtis's that have changed now.
2 Generations
I think Hotpoint/Indesit have two generations of machines running side-by-side at the moment.
The Indesit Prime, Hotpoint Aqualtis & some other Hotpoint's like Darren's WMUD look all-new, but the Indesit's like yours (aeg03) & Hotpoint's like the WML range have been around longer & may still use older programming.
That'd be my theory anyway.

I have a hotpoint wml540 which is made by indesit. When i use an ordinary cotton 40c cycle it does a wash, interim spin, and 2 rinses, then the final spin 1400rpm. i do use extra rinse some times if it gets too Foamy. Thanks!
