OK, we're at it again. I just can't bring myself to take down the tiki bar and flamingo patio lights yet! Thanks for the idea of doing another one, Ron!

October 11th, 2pm-? Pot-luck, BYOB.

Whaddya think? We emailed a few people off-list to get a date that was good for more people, and so far we have Ron (+Brian?), Bobby (+Matt?), RichM and Rick, John Coldspot and Filter-flo Rob.

Who else is in???

Chuck (& Rich, of course!)

I'll be there!

I'll bring a salad for dinner and some munchies for the afternoon.

Looking forward to Saturday.

Rob.

Salad--- YUMMO! Something a little healthy to counteract the gnocci, bracciole, fondue, dip, meatballs, sausage (Ron-- though, with peppers, onions and mushrooms), etc. I better take an extra Zocor tomorrow night!!!

BTW- am I weird LOVING spaghetti/pasta sauce on my salad instead of (or with a little) dressing???

Chuck

Well ...

Howdy!

Gnocchi is one of my favourite food groups ... Of course, doughnuts are another one of my favourite food groups (thought I'd say it before someone trumps me!). My Italian relatives pronounce the word without the "i" which, I guess is typical in Abruzzi dialect -- drop off the vowel of nouns).

I like kitchen sink type of salads with lots of veggies in it along with a variety of lettuces. I made sourdough bread last week, and I think I have some in the freezer, so I'll probably make some croutons out of that.

Speaking of Sourdough, I made a mean starter (from scratch). If anyone is interested, please let me know. It is so active that if I put my finger in it, I fear that it will be gone in a few minutes!

Spaghetti sauce on your salad? I don't think that's weird at all. I don't know if it is strictly a New England thing, but people think it is equally as "weird" to have dill pickles as a condiment to pancakes; and, grape jelly as a condiment to macaroni and cheese -- don't knock it until you've tried it.

Now, What's all this about Ron's sausage????

Looking forward to tomorrow.

Have fun!

Rob.

Damn this sounds like it is going to be a great party. Wish I was able to attend. But I have to leave for California real early on Sunday morning. I am meeting my sister in LA then we fly up to Santa Barbara. No news on my missing aunt, so it's time to clean out the house to make it available for rent. Take lots of pics guys. Will see you in Decemeber for the next party. Sorry to miss this one.

The pasties you can keep.

The gatherings are always great, but no one is undressed except the ferrets and that is another story entirely......

Sister coming in from Pennsylvania to leave her kids in New York (it's on the way!) to go to a wedding in Connecticut. (of the male-female variety! *LOL*)

If I didn't promise to see them, I'd have been there with bells (and finger) cymbals on.

Oh come now, Jon ...

Party all night and just get on the plane Sunday morning. Catch a few winks on the flight. Another option would be we'll all pass out by the pool and just sleep there ... then, we can throw you in the pool ... with temps the way they are, you surely will wake up!

Seriously, sorry to hear you aunt is still missing. What are you going to do with a whole house full of stuff?

Enjoy. If we don't see you, well toast you!

Rob.
