I too bought my first Lady K's in 1986.....in platinum.....A, for something different, and B, the laundry was in the kitchen, and figured I would get all the rest in that color.....but platinum and toast were soon discontinued after that...
so in 89, when I bought the whole kitchen in the Limited Edition series, I bought the digital machines as well.......although I went with Almond, at the time, wanted something different than just plain white...
although could have gotten the all white monochromatic if I waited another year or two....
today, for the most part you can mix black and stainless and get a decent look.....otherwise, you better buy them all at the same time, don't figure on them having those colors should you buy one now and change piece by piece.....if you do, best to pick something like white, you can always match that....
