Small installs of wind/solar/hydro/storage batteries and also compost heat. I do run small wind and solar and flooded lead storage batts-just for fun and experimentation. Read in an old magazine from about 1980 about a Frenchman using heat piped from a large compost heap for winter heating! Have had heavy winds 40-50 with some peaks of ~70 lately,so wind chargers really cranking out: two Turkish Ista breeze i500s catching northwest winds and putting out over 25a (12v system) each when there is enough load
During last windstorm one went open circuit and free-spinning up to around 2500 rpm judging by the angry bumblebee sound... pretty sure a fault with the slip rings is the cause of the open circuit, will take that one down for repair as soon as wind goes down...
