Help Support :

Pete,
Don't really need the manual but I have a Fryryte almost identical to the one pictured. Mine is all chrome.
The interesting thing to me is that mine is a Nesco Fryryte from the Hoover Co. The front of the manual says this is from a company called Dulane?

Anyone know the history on this one?

Bill

History of Dulane

Stanley J. Budlane and Robert Dusek, in 1950, created Dulane with their first patented fryer, the Fryryte. Nessco then purchased Dulane in the mid-1950s, and the rights to the Fryryte. Sometime in the 1960’s, Sunbeam purchased the Fryryte. Dormeyer, on the otherhand, who was in direct competition with Dulane and Nessco, introduced their version of the Fryryte, called the Fry-Well in 1952 or 1953. Almost identical to the Fryryte, Dormeyer was always the high-end appliance so if you wanted a fryer like this, most would opt for the less expensive Fryryte. I hope this answers your question.

First Patent of the Fryryte

I meant to post the patent of the fryryte but it didn't take with the above posting... sorry!

still available?

If that book is still available, may I have it please?

I've got the 1950 Fryryte exactly as in the patent photo. All chrome, and no indicator light.

Thanks.

Bob
