But.......

the 106 miles isn't the problem....

It's finding the time to sneak away from the reunion. Its the only time I get to see some of these folks every year. I may have to drive like a bat outta hell and get up to the reunion on thursday morning, do some visiting and then head out on Saturday afternoon....

Hmmmm, it just might work.

Oh My

It looks like laundry days ahead full speed!

I'm gettin' antsy!

I wish I could buy a seat for AL and bring him! He'd love Omaha & Minnie!

Keep adding more!

My goal was to put a new picture up every other day or so, fell behind working on things around here - preparations continue and things are coming together very nicely! Aside from a minor flood Saturday, I did a lot of work on the rooms we'll be washing in and on a couple of machines as well.

This is a 64 Lady Kenmore washer that Don Shier (jetaction) found in Minneapolis. I repaired a wire it seems to work OK, a complete tear down and restoration would be nice, but time is not on our side for that! I gave her a bath yesterday and while scrubbing years of neglect from her top and controls, you could almost see her smiling again!

The tub is the agitator? What an astute observation!! Have you submitted this to Westinghouse's ad agency to use it in ad campaigns? Modern wonders NEVER cease.

Who's that lady?

That KM is breathtaking! I most assuredly want to come to the conv but if no full-time job yet, no go. So keep your fingers crossed.

Say YAY for Lady K!

Greg:

I am absolutely in love with that Lady Kenmore! The glow of the lighted control panel has a real romantic quality...and the pushbuttons! I know where I will be spending my time! :-)

Great machines!

Greg all those machines look fantastic! I can hardly wait to see them all in person! We are gonna have a BLAST!!

Greg you have been working so hard!

Greg,
Your machines that you posted look show room new! I can't get over how great everthing looks. And oh that Lady Kenmore! What a beauty!
I'ma coming! Can't wait to see you and your machines, and meet all of the new folks, and see those I know already!
Thanks for doing this! It is going to be a blast!

YAY for Highlanders

Woohoo, real Maytag action!! Another machine I'll be watching...

What happened to the original "Gyrafoam" wringer-style agitator? How was its performance? Inquisitive minds want to know...;-)

The orginal, skinny shaft agitator is still here - it can be put in anytime for washing/viewing pleasure. Performance is virtually the same with either agitator, the size is about the same and I've not noticed any difference with the larger barrel on the filter-agitator, turnover is the same. I use the this 'Tag for lots of loads and like having the softener dispenser.
