it is my understanding that these can be adapted for home use...a few simple program adjustments and you don't need the coin card to operate...i seen an attendant once and asked him about these...they can be programmed to work with a card or without...he had a special code he entered to make them run...don't know if all machines like this...but who knows...

Watching the forigners and young people try and use these as a dryer at the Stratosphere was quite funny.. I spent two hours explaining it was a washer and not a dryer to people... One guy asked why the dryer had water going into it...
