Oh Yoo-Hoo! Speed Queen W&D Set

Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support :

Looks to be top of the line, and those are sure sharp. I know a lot of people in the club looove these machines. I personally don't like (hate is probably a better word) modern top-loaders, but I saw a couple of videos on YouTube featuring this machine, and I was VERY impressed with the turnover.

We have the model that replaced this one (anyone know the difference between an AWS75NW and AWS76NW?) and can vouch for its performance. But given its age and condition I think the seller's BIN price is optimistic. Street price for a new current model set is not much more than what they're asking.

The Difference is.....

in the water temperature selections. Looks like this was the last model to feature a warm rinse. Notice it has four position settings on the dial. I just love our AWS76NW but did wish it had a warm rinse setting at times. It must be from the government pushing energy saving standards on the washing machines by only offering cold rinses. I'm going to keep my old SQ set (1983) (HA7001L) going as long as I can since it does have the warm wash setting and use it during the winter months when air temperatures get into down to the teens.
