Re: Possiblities:

Hey! Club Member Friends, if this weren't made of Wood, I would have guessed an Oven Door, but since it is made of Wood, how about a Lid for an Ice Cream Freezer from a Vintage Soda Fountain Shop. The Ice Cream Containers would be in the Chest-Like Freezers and the Window would have been to see which Flavor Ice Cream was in that compartment.

I also though possibly a Vintage Wooden Frigidaire Washer, but I don't recall Frigidaire making any Wooden Washers. If anyone else knows of any Wooden-Made Washers thru Frigidaire, please share any and all info and hopefully some Pix as well.

Good one Toggle! My guess would have to be someone took the handle off something else and put on there. Still doesn't explain what it is though. Maybe someone made it to watch a washer work. Kind of like Roberts plexy front. Maybe someone could date it from the lettering style.

Well, here's where the handle is from. It's a freezer tray - doesn't that dessert look delish? I have Frigidaire books all the way back to the early teens and have seen nothing made out of wood with round windows. It's anyone's guess what this was made for, but I doubt that it was made in Dayton...
