Energy 92.7

Hey Scott, I've got 92.7 saved on my car radio and they also are on channel 964 on Comcast digital cable but that could be limited only to the Bay Area. On line is a great option for non-locals.

Fernando and Greg are really fun, the whole station is fun, even if their play list can seem a bit short when you've had the station on for a while. The station owner is gay also, and one would presume he's fairly wealthy. I wouldn't be suprised to find out it's James Gabbert, former gay owner of TV 20 in these parts. He used to host movies late at night and always had a smiling hunky bartender there with him. He owned 101.3 for many years and back in the 70's would broadcast in quadraphonic during designated evening hours. With those stations he always used call letters that matched the station's frequency. Such as KIOI for 101.3 and KTZO for channel 20. He also had people put their pets (primarily dogs) in a chair to record his TV 20 ID's and used a tactic to make the dogs turn their heads a certain direction at just the right time so they seemed to be looking at the superimposed station ID info when it appeared on the screen. TV 20 also used to brodcast the SF gay pride parade live every year.

Since the 50's or very early 60's, 92.7 had been KJAZ and it was a great station. So sophisticated. They had a chronically weak signal in a crowded part of the dial and finally went under sometime in the 90's and went to a Spanish format like so many stations around here. So glad somebody bought this one and took the chance with "pure dance" format. I think this station has become a money maker without holding back on its gayness. Sure hope it stays around for a long time.

Here in the Boston area we had a station called Star 93.7. They played dance music and it was in my opinion very good. They were headed to the #1 position until one day they(Entercom) pulled the plug on the dj's and format and went with their "Mike" format where they play everything. Right off the bat it stunk and still does. I have tried to listen to terrestrial radio but its painful to listen to. I should be able to hear what I want when I want it and I dont mind paying for it either. Its too much the same ol here. In Maine its even worse....

LOL ROFLMAF

Now, I know what to say to American Home Shield if I should ever have to call them about the Calypso.

I go to a 24 Hour Fitness (national chain), I doubt I would hear that in there. But, it would be pretty funny to see some of the southern Bible thumpers if this was to make it in though.......

what a howl

With all the circuitry and such, couldn't help but think of the Super Unimatic 2.0

How cool it would be to see you wig out like that blonde Dude. Gawd ! can he ever wig out !!!!

How often we've seen your head inside machines, always smiling or wide-eyed wonder-struck!
