And, when you

read the fine print, it turns out the pics. need not be the object you are bidding on, nor is it necessarily so that you are bidding on the object you think you are!
In other words, these mutha' fcukin' bastards could take your money and send you a grainy photocopy of the stove and you would have agreed to it.

Honestly, there are some jerks out there...

To get viewers

They've just populated or seeded their ad with all the search buzz words people use and they haven't missed any including Populux which is a website/magazine geared towards all things mid century modern etc..

Greg has something similar to that. Wonderful ranges and wonderful design. I just bet he didn't pay $4,500 though...

It is hard to gauge the value of our little toys,

we saw a twin-tub from Easy in perfect condition the other day. Been in continuous service since the late 1940's or early 1950's.

Working and working well.

Owner wanted $50, we have offered $30, my feeling (am on overload with the Westy Slantfront dryer at the moment) is that her current value is more like, they should pay us to haul her away.

But if all my projects were done, I'd probably be willing to pay over the $50 and blow out of Dodge, thanking me lucky stars.

Jerks like these people, tho', should be shot with shit and hung for stinkin'. They ruin honest dealers' reputations and make our lives tougher.

I sent this to the seller...........

Hi... Yes that is a very cool stove and you are selling it for $4500. OK, I have a question for you.... Just what type of glue have you been sniffing?? I hope you have plenty of room to store it, because at that price it's not going anywhere. Good luck!

Preying upon the ignorance of the overly gullible to relieve them of the burden of excess cash.

My range is a 57, the first year of the squared-corner cabinet design. The pic is from Memorial Day - pie baking. I bought mine on ebay as well, but for around $200 and a quick trip out to Denver to pick it up.

I like the idea of the $4000 sack of money inside the range, but only if this 59 was all original. I have the panel for this range in my shed and it appears that the one offered for sale has been retrofitted with a standard pushbutton heat control switch and the temperature sensing unit removed from the left-front burner. The knob on the far left side of the panel next to the small window was the temperature control for that burner which has most likely been rendered useless. That knob is also missing a silver insert.

Not that I'm trying to dissuade anyone from jumping on the offer ;-)

LOL . . . "not for Ricardos or Harriets." Or did they mean, "not for Lucys or Nelsons?" (insert toking sound here)

I know Lucy had a show, I know Harriet had a show, but what shows did Ricardo and Nelson have?

I think I'm having a pink moment (Ojai C of C don't come after me).

420 overdose? I resemble that remark!

I sent this to the seller........... (and his reply)
