Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support :

Not bad! Those things go for a lot of money on ebay. Did I see you post a pic of an old sink with a drainboard lately or was it sombody else?

SURE-

Stove of this caliper usually sell for a lot, lot more. After all there are only [usually]two (types of) moving parts on these old classics:

Door hinges and gas valves. Normally a good cleaning and a re-greasing (sealing) of the valves fixes MOST of the sins of the past.

Conversely this is why old washers are so (relatively) inexpensive. Normally a much shorter life and mechanically complicated / vulnerable. [Twelve hour wash anyone?]

But y'all knew that, didn't ya?

Ya, I figured for $100 it wasn't a bad deal. Now I just have to convince the hubby, lol

drmitch, I did post a picture of an old sink that I bought a little while ago.

That looks like a very nice gas range. The window in the oven door is a premium feature, at least for that era. It may clean up fine, depends on how baked on the crud is.

If you have the room, it could be fun to restore this one and keep on display.
