Hi,
I have an O'Keefe & Merritt range which I need to rebuild the valves on - what are the opinions on doing this myself or "sending them out" to be/get done? I'm in Chicago so it's not like sending them across town to do and I've noticed some people here have opinions and options for this, so I thought I'd throw it out there...
Here's the range (sorry, my kitchen is tight, I can't back up or get further away);

And the valves;

(Ignore the rice bag please)
I'm reasonably handy (I got the valves off and have really cleaned up the range).
