Create (if you have digital antennae its often one of the PBS .x channels) has been showing Baking with Julia on and off lately.

Hans, I found some of Betty Feezor's shows on YouTube. She's great! I don't sew or do crafts, but really enjoyed those segments of the show as well as the cooking. Love that she did all the commercials, too. Her voice and personality are wonderful.

The French Chef
Julia kept it real, just letting the tape roll even when something went wrong.

Good Eats
Alton not only explained what to do, but why. The science of cooking is interesting.

Yan Can Cook
Martin Yan is a scream!

Didn't Ming Tsai have a cooking show before he became a big shot restaurantuer?

Yes, "Cooking with Ming", wasn't it? I've eaten in one of his restaurants (The Blue Dragon iirc) - I thought it was good, my dinner companion felt it wasn't that great.

Oh am I gonna be in big trouble for posting this...

Didn't Captain Kangaroo occasionally have his mother on his show baking cookies, cakes and pies while Mr. Greenjeans cracked jokes? Maybe I'm confused, our old Philco had a very poor picture.

Decided to put my post back, but I'll be in trouble

Didn't Captain Kangaroo often have his mother on his show baking cookies, pies and cakes while Mr. Greenjeans cracked jokes  behind the poor old dear? I could be mistaken, our old Philco had a crummy picture.
