Old cool, to quote the seller. Too bad the photos are poor..looks like alot of buttons for an old cool dishwasher.

First Dishwasher
This is a Power Scour model. I have the same dishwasher in portable version and I can attest that this is the best dishwasher I have ever owned. It's the generation just before the Power Clean model. Mine is a 1981. If it's in working order, this is a good unit.

Familiar looking,
I had the same one. It cleaned dishes excellent. First energy saver I do believe.
Mine said powewrclean energy saver on it.

Not the 940,
The one with the timer knob.
Our next was a 940 which lasted 12 years until we remodeled. It only ran on normal cycle by then.

Where was the wash tower? Theres no way the upper rack can get any water to it...
no center tower needed......hard if not impossible to see in the pics, the supply runs up the back wall to supply water to the top rack.....

Same as the Kenmore Roto Rack, fixed to the back. Racks come in and out and built to fit. I miss my old Lady Kenmore. Sure cleaned better than the Whirlpool I have now.
That electronic WP machine 2nd in the pics does indeed NEED it's tower.
It's got the black pressure boot on the center of the lower arm. This is prior to the internal feed system that didn't come until they put the fine mesh filter on the module.
I've seen a lot of people pull those water transfer towers out of their old WP machines because they "Feel" it's not important.
Granted, these are the same caliber of people who pre-wash their dishes, so they don't notice the diminished results.
