I helped an elderly bloke out of his car with this very old Creda tumble dryer, when i turned it to face me I thought this is one i have never seen.
I asked him about it, and it turns out he was an engineer for Creda and this model was a test model given to engineers to take home and write reports on, they could then keep the machine if they wanted.
It does not use a standard timer but by selecting the corresponding letter on the dial for the type of fabric it senses when the clothes are dry, nothing new there really except this machine is about 30 years old he says..........pre-dates Hoovers autosense dryers in this country.
The control panel is in mint condition as is the chrome trim on the door, it has beautiful stainless steel drum.
He says it still works but he no longer needs such a large machine..........it has no rust, the only bad visual things are where some of the paint has lifted, which is shame, but even though i do not have the room for it i had to take it as it such a rare model,
As you can see in the pictures it describes itself as a "Tumbler Dryer" which I think is amusing also on the back it says "Jackson" and not "Creda"
So thats me fancy find at work........my poor garage......where will I put it.......
