I think these were one of the first Amanas to come out, which would mean these were approximately mid 80s models. They were manufactured by Raytheon Corp. who also manufactured Speed Queen. The lids on these open to the side, whereas the Speed Queens of this time period had back-opening lids. These machines had the perforated tubs like their Speed Queen counterparts, however I don't think they were stainless steel. The side opening lids remind me of the former solid tub Speed Queens. If only those were still with us.
