Older Viking Washing Machine

Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

The Front Panel is Exactly a Franklin

Look at that it's a Franklin Pig! That's the oldest Viking washer I have even seen, it might even be a solid basket. In the 70's and 80's Vikings were made by GE.

Grandparents had a really old Viking dryer, older than this. It had the lint filter trap on top like a Whirlpool/Inglis but was definitely not made by them. No start button. As soon as you turned the dial, the machine started. Three buttons in the middle for reg, delicate & fluff I think. No automatic dry - time dry only. It was white and the console was raised by two short little chrome legs off the machine like an old GE. Console was pink and black in color with chrome trim. I think that Blackstone had made laundry for Eatons eons ago so this could have been one of them.

oh look at this

My grandparents had this very same Viking washer bought from Eaton's in the 60's. Same as Greg's interior (sans the rust). Their agitator was missing some of it's angel fins as a result of washing Bijou (their Pomeranian's) large sleeping mat.
