Another good idea

Rex - you may be on to something there. We could turn our inner city youth on the appliances. They wouldn't have to go for thrift stores. The price is right. Appliances might keep them out of trouble. (smile)

And another thing-RESTORE THE FAMILY VALUES!Worked in the past-should still work today.Yes having them collect and fix appliances is a good useful sport for them.That is how folks got started in appliances on Applianceville-interested in them as a kid and going from there-and interested in other things.

....and then you need to be careful about what applicances to stay away from. Remember, we were talking about keeping kids out of trouble. So they need to be careful of vacuums. I'd say toasters and mixers. (smile)
