Your valentines present

Was bought with love but no less love than was invested in restoring it. Seems to be a problem with most 275s my dearest Paul, I say a hot hair dryer to melt the glue a tad and a re adjustment to fix it. However Paul its perfect as it is and no worries about perfecting it should ever be felt. Your/our 275 is just perfect. I hope we still have it in 50 years time when we are old gits. Love you so much mate x x R x x

Hi,
the above Electra machine is a pre-Hotpoint, Creda made washer.
I believe the Credas changed to Hotpoint design in about 1990.

Hope that helps,
Tom.

that Electra's great!

but 1400 spin? I think not. Can't quite make out the numbering on the dispenser draw but I'm certain it says either 800 or 1100.

I wonder where people get this information from

that Electra's great!

yeah i had a look i think it says "Electronic 1100"......
I wonder aswell, perhaps the owners best mates mums aunts friend said something about it being a 1400 spin she thought, but she was sure it was a Zanussi not that she liked it coz it made here whites go grey *grin*

I'm pretty sure it's 800 actually

judging by the age and more BOL look of this machine (only 3 buttons) I'd guess it would be 800 anyway, still a fast spin in my opinion and any faster being unecessary but then again I guess I'm old-fashioned like that XD, I have to stop looking at the pic cos the more I look at it the more I wish it were sat downstairs in my Kitchen lol. If only I had the room =[

I'm pretty sure it's an 1100, I've used an even more basic Creda-Electra of the same series before (with 2 buttons) and that was definately 1100!

Tom
