Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support :

Thanks for the compliments Rob. Enjoy doing the trawls on ebay, it just kills me because I can't acquire anything! So much stuff has been on that, if the UK housing market were a little fairer, I would myself have snapped up. Square door bendix's, hoover electrons, keymatics and that A3146, Hotpoint Liberator dryer and Microtronic dryer (matching only), that Creda 275 and THAT Miele (the buyer outbid me on a 1976 Miele advert - does he/she live on this site? If so - congrats on the purchases).

By all accounts you are Chester bound tomorrow? If so, I will see you there.

That twin tub is an AEG - have never seen on on Ebay before, they must be as rare as hen's teeth or a Philips Top Twin Deluxe!!

but were' keeping it quiet!

to quote Bendix in 82 lol, I am Chester bound tomorrow by all accounts. Yet another sleepless night wondering about what wonderful will happen :) I have a suprise of my own up my sleeve too, I had the 1969 Kenwood Chef out but that too is secret. :) Rob

Paul

I do believe that is an AEG Twinny and a member here has one! Cant remember if its Mike or Ricky? Speaking of Rick where are you? What you upto? And how is your AEG? Lol rob

Yeah, that twinny is an AEG. Ricky had one, but I think he was going to get rid of it as it was tripping the RCD. I wonder how he's gotten on with his Keymatic?

Hope you guys'll be taking plenty of pics up Mikes - I think Seamus'll be there too? Have loads of fun anyway!

The Logic 1300

Hey Paul

It could be one of two models according to the info on our parts suppliers site..

Either

A3640 Logic 1300 white/H(Honey?) Beige

A3764 Logic 1300 white/CH(No idea) Beige

Neither mention being EB exclusives tho

the logic 1300

As far as i can remember the logic 1300 with an "E" at the end was the electricity board model
I could be wrong but my memory seems to tell me this

Gary

Good luck David - I always wanted a Casdon Electron when I was a kid, never got one though. I will rectify the situation one day - just not now. Fingers crossed for a successful outcome for you!

How do Seamus - as with Gary, I always understood that anything made by Hoover ending in a stand alone 'E' was a 'leccy board special. Unfortunately, this in no way had an effect on the model number - it was just another model number, with no special apendiges suh as an E.
The colour does look a bit unusual I have to say - perhaps its the bad lighting, but it makes me feel....well....a bit queasy looking at it!
Probably just me.

All the best for your respective weekends.
Cheers
Paul

still here!

Hi i am still here but due to work and diy i have had very little chance to play with any of my machines! I do still own the AEG tt there is a leak on the spin dryer and water gets sprayed around the electrics due to a huge cooling fan on base of spin motor. So for now it is sitting safely in my garage ! I have not had any more chance to tinker with the keymatic it whirs clicks and tumbles well but the clutch is slipping and will not go in to spin, i think i need shims to insert under the clutch rollers, no luck with a door boot yet but mike is on the case ( but very busy at mo as we know! PS well done Mike on your TV show, unfortunately i have only just got sky last weekend so missed it and did not have any broadband in the mean time to wish you well ! )

My latest toy is a hoover TT its now in my kitchen keeping the bendix company it works well but has a slight drip from the rubber resilliant mount on the spinner , but its still a canny item but looks so small. I am very tempted by the Hotpoint TL and parnall dryer , but no room at the inn so to speak. As its sunday i think i will treat my self to a visit to the tip ! to see if any good things are lurking!

Hope you're well
