Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support :

No I did not know about them.

Ralph, have you heard about this?? Are you willing to pack up and box up the stove?

I will check on the rates.

PLease let me know about the weight of the stove if you can.

That was a sticking point with the last shipper I contacted.

I would like to save this treasure and have it in my home.

If there is a chance I am willing.

Greg

Greg, let me check and get back to you. I haven't been on line much as we have our house staged for sale and are camping out at my mom's place, where we will ultimately end up living but it's going to be full of her stuff until the estate sale in another month. So my computer time is minimal lately.

I'll send you a direct e-mail after I've looked into things. If it still isn't feasible, I will contact the Antique Appliance people to see if they are interested.

Thanks for the continued interest in saving this stove!

Ralph

Well..

do you think it would sell at the estate sale? At least that way it would find an interested party to go home with.

Greg,

Yes, if it comes to that, I think anyone who buys it at the estate sale will be doing so with the intention of saving it rather than scrapping it. I will let it go that way if that's the only way to find it a home.

I've got a couple of snapshots and may take them down to the appliance parts place not far from Mom's house. That's the place where about a year or two ago I walked in the door with the burned out oven element in my hand and from across the room and behind the counter the guy shouted "Westinghouse!" as soon as he saw what I had with me. Maybe he'd know of someone who could give it a good home.

Again, thanks for trying.

Ralph
