We had that exact same Whirlpool dishwasher in the 80's. I remember it well, it wash very good and had the Super Scour cycle that worked wonder's on pots and pans. That machine ran for 14 years without a single repair and then one day the timer died a sudden death. It was replaced with another Whirlpool dishwasher that is still running strong to this day. That was a very good dishwasher. I still have the installation and operating instructions for it.

We had something like this a Supreme 80, portable, green, with a very nice removable butcher block top (3/4 of the top). Speckle blue and white interior with removable silverware basket on door. This thing never needed repair it was thrown out do to a remodel with a more modern built in d/w.

Our Supreme 80 didn't have the food warmer, but that was a Way Cool feature back in the day!
Does anyone know...
how the food warmewr feature worked? I mean I know that you put the food on the metal part on the top of the dishwasher but I am wondering if that part had a heating element under it or what....PAT COFFEY

I always like the control panel on these machines. The models they made prior to these, had a good handle on them too, as you could hang a kitchen towel through them to dry.

That was my moms first dishwasher! I remember hearing this thing run once, and it was a beast of a machine from what I can remember. This poor thing though looks like it has seen better days.

When I was a kid, my parents had the exact same model as the first one you posted but it was badged "Inglis" If i remember well, it said "Scour Wash" instead of Super Scour and I think that the series was Sterling.
I have a similar (but a bit newer) Kenmore badged with only 3 buttons.
3 of my aunts had models similar to the last model you posted (yellow one). One was an Inglis Superb portable and it had the same silver panel below. Another was badged RCA and the third was an Inglis Royal 100 with no timer/selector button but indicator lights for the cycles instead.
