Yes and no

I live in the South of Germany, which Europeans (and
Americans after one hour in Italy) universally call The Northernmost Tip of Italy, separated by Austria from the Mother Ship.

So, yes, very beautiful...but, I think, the older geological age of Virginia makes some parts among the most beautiful in the world.

Here is a lake from the Eifel. It is very typical.

Keven,

I usually don't comment when you start in on someone or something, but I really do think you need lighten up, and let some things slide. Just my $.02, take it for what it is worth.

P.S., Maybe consider the source before typing your response next time.

Oh My!!!!!

It looks like the mountains of North Carolina, its so beautiful.Does it snow there? We used to get snow, havent in about six years to amount to anything. Thanks for the pic,Bobby

Good advice, Tim

Yup, I am sensitive to racist insults and do pull the trigger very fast, especially after the Austin incident.

Snow, oh, yes, we do get snow, although the overall seasonal temperatures are fairly moderate. I'm several hundred miles away from that lake, and up against the Alps here and this week we went from 0°F to 70°F and back to below freezing in two days - if it snowed, then the sun and the rain washed it away before we saw it. Times when all of Germany is covered with a solid blanket of snow (like 2006) are very rare.

Here's a range just east and north of me, Harz, remind anyone from the South of any place? Hint: Still bootlegging, to their heart's content...

Sorry...

...to chime in. But it seems that in no country, people who love washing machines can all be friends or at least friendly with each other. In Germany, there are 3 groups/forums and no one likes the other. Such a pity...

But back to topic: I also hold the opinion that 25 years is rather enough. The "Oprah of Germany" quitted a long time ago.

@ panthera: Sometimes I stay in Munich. Why not have a coffee or so? I'll let you know next time I will be there.
