Orbs, ray guns and little green men

Well I certainly had an enjoyable day at the flea market yesterday. I scooped two Sunbeam Mixmasters, a real chrome one and an early 50's one.. Haven't checked the model #'s yet.
But I saw this lamp and just had to have it to go on my console stereo,oh and that other thing is an Oster Air-jet hair dryer I got too. Couldn't resist little Green Sprout either.

I couldn't resist picking up Sprout. Interestingly the guy I bought him from told me that he worked for the company that designed those 3D pictures, you know the ones that you have to stare at for awhile until the hidden picture comes into view. Apparently Green Giant hired them to design one for them, some promotion or something and he was sent a couple of these Sprouts to photograph and manipulate into the hidden 3D picture.
Now here's a pic of the two mixers I got.. the old model 9, missing the big bowl and needing paint but I got the small bowl and citrus juicer with it, and the nice chrome model 12c.

Like those MixMasters-will have to start keeping an eye out for the yard sales here-Should be a lot of them come Spring-and I can see them when I am going home from my Mid shift.Thats another advantage of a midnight work shift-you can see the yard sales on Sat mornings on the way home from work!There iisn't many of them here at this time of year.
