On to number two. You have chosen someone as a patsy here who really and truly is dependent on your approbation for her dreary little existence. She's not much of a princess, hardly a bitchette, thrice removed. But still dahlinks - she's all she's got and will ever have.

NO ONE in this club launches daily un-addressed hatred to "those members" of whatever vicious description of the day you chose to use. NO ONE but you. Everyone knows this, and they're not going to take it much longer. These are club members, men whom you purport to defend in the great abstract of gay rights but in the concrete reality of real people in your club, you insult them daily. Your hypocrisy is mind-boggling.

You are a classic Abnormal Psych 101 textbook case of a self-loathing human being who projects onto any handy target.

You are either the most disturbed sociopath, or the one truly evil man in our midst, currently raging and truly out of control.

If you think you are going to get away with your abuse, your bullying, and your pathological lying any more, you're even crazier than your insane words suggest.

And like any clueless self-deluded sociopath, you have no empathy for harm you bring to innocent people, nor any sense of the number of people who know how sick you are. You are quite a monster. Congratulations. That's quite an achievement.

The good news in all this is that a few years back, the gay marriage ban initiative passed with some 65% in favor. It was then thrown out this summer by the Calif. Supreme Court.

This time the gay marriage ban amendment passed with only about 52% in favor. So the electorate is getting more gay-marriage friendly with each election. In a few years another amendment to rescind the gay marriage ban might just pass.

Meanwhile there really needs to be an amendment to make it a little more difficult to amend the state constitution (after the gay marriage ban is rescinded, of course ;-). Currently it only takes a simple majority to amend the constitution. In effect, the mandate for such changes need be no more than that for a simple initiative/law. It sort of questions the need for a constitution in the first place.

Take it from one who knows. No use in fighting here. The vocal ones are the ones prove to conservative Americans that they are exactly right. And they don't care, they believe they are right, no one can tell them otherwise, they don't want to try any other tactics, and want to bully everyone else into accepting them and use facist tactics to force the point of view down everyone's throat, all the while screaming and crying about persecution and facism from the other side. No use, Mickey, no use. They are going to call you names and belittle you, and if not "you personally" then the facts that you base your beliefs on. Better to use your energy for something more productive that you believe in. Better to wear your AW.org badge of "ignorant", "stupid" and "self hating" as a badge of honor and just move on. No argument is going to win.

But, I will say that Panthera has been a gentleman to me personally, altho' we sure don't see eye to eye.

Meanwhile, I attended a rally today with about 2,000 people. By far a better use of my time! Heard some great speakers like Mike Huckabee, John Linder, John Oxendine, Neal Boortz and Saxby Chambiss. Now, that was something I think is much more important and much more worthy to support: 1) the Fair Tax and 2) keeping more balance of power by getting Saxby Chambliss re-elected in the run off on Dec 2.

Mickeyd has single me out for these attacks every so often, purportedly as the spokeslady for the reigning queens. Any time I post in Imperial, there's always a good chance she'll be snapping at me heels soon there after. Warning, lots of posts on restoring a '53 (could be a '55) slant front Westie dryer coming up in a few weeks, with some money shots from under the skirts of a thumper ( and she's pank!).

And thank you, Peter. I know I am anything but subtle (sound of several hundred eyes rolling), and I fear my progress must be measured in millimeters, not feet...but enough is enough.

Maybe the fit has passed off her now and we can return to our regularly scheduled programming...until her next bout of feline allergy.

If I know a member's post is going to upset me, I just don't read it. Seems easy enough to me.

Oh,Peter, have you ever followed Conn Caroll or Russ Douthat on bloggingheads.tv? Now those are conservatives capable of coherent thought (they're still wrong, of course, only I hold the eternal truths in my hand) ((that was a joke, dahlinks-I have paws))
 
Andrew Sullivan and others have correctly noted that support for same-sex marriage is the conservative position. This has already been proven in other countries, and will be proven in America too. As soon as one steps back from all the disinformation, ridiculous scare tactics and rhetoric, and looks at this issue objectively, it immediately becomes obvious: "defense of marriage" laws are utterly pointless, and can serve no purpose other than to make Jews, Christians and Muslims feel better about a 3000 year history of executing, torturing and persecuting gay people.

Fifty years from now people will look back in astonishment at this "defense of marriage" nonsense, just like we look back at laws which prohibited interracial marriages a half century ago.

When I see somebody call another person a "Nazi" my blood boils, comparing and makes me think that some people have no idea what a Nazi is.

She is a low life monster. I am amazed how she has been able to continue her negative, degrading, harassing nonsense within the club. (Mickeyd thanks for keeping tabs!!) This crappy, childish, dysfunctional behavior fuels the other psychopaths into thinking that this is accepted behavior, and it is okay to act out in such a childish manner!
The fun part is that she tries to make us believe that she is this smart school teacher / writer. School teacher...Scary! (Unless it is an adult S&M class?)
It is such fun to have a cup of coffee in the morning and just roar from laughter from the ridiculous post that come from her finger tips! However enough is enough!
Other members that have been banned look like lambs compared to this clown .

I have been deciding about posting further in this thread, and feel as though I must.

Keven has been wonderfully kind and generous to me since I met him here. He has sent me thoughtful small presents, and given me something even better, friendship. Friendship without judgement.

Friendship is why I am writing this post in this thread.

Keven has never misrepresented himself to me.

I share many opinions with him, though I try to write mine in a way that is less open to misinterpretation. I also try to think before I hit "POST this to Discuss-O-Mat."

However, these attacks on a friend (and that is "all" that he is to me) make me very sad and angry. Very.

I thought we all had a shared pleasure in washers, dryers, dishwashers and other electromechanical devices that conquered all.

I also thought (silly me), that many of us had faced discrimination and worse for our pleasure in washers, dryers...... and, many of us, for whom we love(d).

I was hoping for better/more.

I am staying, but I don't think I will be posting very much, or very often. At least not for now.

I treasure the friends I have been blessed with from this site.

However, I really wish that I did not feel compelled to write this post.

I do not care to discuss this any further in this thread, but my email address is in my profile, if you wish to compliment or condemn me.

pantera regards himself as a huge human rights advocate when he vilifies gay men whom he calls "vicious killer spite-filled hateful queens" regularly here on this site. Those are his words. Many older loving men who have been here much longer than myself are horrified into silence by the constant vilification of their religion by an American hater who lost his citizenship and had to beg for a green card.

No one spoke up when he almost daily bashed Christians and queens.

And now you want to whine when I bash Nazis, pantera being the only member even close to resembling one.

I hate torture, especially verbal torture, and that's what he does here all the time, and no one speaks up. And you know damned well what I'm taking about. I will speak out every day, until it stops.
