According to the blurb, Ariel Pods have six enzymes (no idea what the sixth one is). I guess this is more than any other product on the UK market?

I think they were announced for a long time now and Tide Pods in the U.S. are available for a longer period of time now. Maybe P&G fears the rivalry to Henkel's Persil. They launched their pouches ca. half a year ago.

Just as I thought. Thanks for the link and confirming that Persil Original was/is non bio.
So now...
you can understand why "Housewives All Over Britain" reacted to the ditching of the ORIGINAL Persil Soap and Bleach Powder in favour of the newer version with enzymes.......never underestimate PEOPLE POWER!!
