I got this Electrolux out of the trash when a church was relocating to a new building. I saw it was a Lux and took it home on the off chance it might work and it did. It works great despite being old and ugly but I can't find any info about it online. The model tag says C8 but I can't find any info about it (when its from, etc.). Maybe someone on here knows. Thanks in advance.

Try asking:

the Vacuum Cleaner Club Site, the "Sister" of AW.org they will be able to help you with this info, if someone here isn't able too. There are some members of the VCCC Site here, so I'm not trying to just say that only the VCCC Site people can help you, I'm just trying to say that if someone here can't, that you do have this other Avenue to research from.

Its an Electrolux Commercial vacuum-these were made in two versions-Dry pickup only or Wet-Dry pickup. The dry ones had only a cloth filter inside the tank under the lid portion.the wet ones had a baffle under the lid and a suction stop float.I used to have both types but sold them to another VCCC member. They are nice vacuums.I am sure Applianceville and VCC members that specialize in 'Lux vacuums can provide more info.

That model vac

is a C B most of the time they were dry only vacs.. usually had a power head and were very good vacs. I have one here would love to find a nice home for it..

Lee,

I am interested in buying it from you if you are selling it. Do you have any pics of it?

Louis-

Lee and I were on the phone a bit ago, and he asked me to tell you that he will get back to you about the vac, but in a few days. He is busier than usual, which is very busy, but he will get back to you.

Hi Louis ..

I will get you some this weekend send me a email to my address and will talk with you about it.. Will be nore than happy to give it to you if you pay shipping.. It runs wonderfuly but needs the tank clamps repaired. and a little tlc. but is in very good working order. hose is not too old and power nozzle works good too and is the commerical chrome model power head that should be with it.. Some I have seen dont have the right nozzle anymore. I have NO idea how much shipping will cost.. I can only guess around 30 dollars ??? I just dont know..
