My dear God, what would possess somebody to paint a car like that?
It also looks like it has been converted into a low rider as well. Did they cut up the dash installing that CD player/GPS?
I wonder if you can play "bouncy bouncy" with it.

A car like this only deserves two colors, white of black. But the seller is stressing that it can be painted, but with that interior you'd be dumping a lot of money into it!

Sad . . .

The wheels and tires are particularly deplorable. They look just awful on this car. I really wish the perpetrator had messed up a '64 or '65 instead, as I'm really fond of the '61 through '63 Lincolns. These had the shorter wheelbase and curved side glass, plus that beautiful dashboard. The '64s and '65s are similar but longer, with a wider roof and (to my eyes) much less elegant dash. Overall, the '61 -'63 models are among my favorite American car designs, and I've felt that way since I was a small boy and my Dad's best friend had a Continental convertible.

I wonder what sort of car shows this thing has won. The 62's did come in pink from the factory but this guy took it quite a bit further. It does look like it could all be put back to normal but that would be costly. As for the lowered look, these cars were more sporty than one might think and were fairly low to the ground to begin with.

Interesting that the interior door panel has the "Lincoln" nameplate. I think that's a modification, but am not as familiar with the 61 through 63 models as I am with 64 & 65.

This is not going to be an easy car to unload.

The interior is custom - including the Lincoln scripts on the doors. I do not like the color myself, but whoever did the work on the car did a quality job. I've seen many half-assed backyard customs that look like shit. While I would not have chosen the wheels or colors on this car, I'm still impressed with the workmanship.

I don't know the condition of this car before all of the customization, but I've seen some real basket cases given a second life as a custom. However, I hate it when a car in good to great condition is turned into something like this, save the custom work for the fixer upper cars.

It seems at car shows where judging is done by popular vote, the cars that are the strangest, weirdest always seem to win over the standard restorations. Maybe that kind of show is where the trophy came from.?
