Check ups

Just make sure that your wife gets checked up at least every 3 mos or so. Follow up visits and blood tests and scans afterwards are very important.
In my case, I wasn't considered "cured" until after 5 years.
During the 5 year period I had check ups every month for the 1st year and every 3 mos for the next 4 years.
Now its every 6 mos probably for the rest of my life.

ALL women should get checked for breast cancer and ovarian cancer.

ALL MEN READING THIS should get check ups for testicular and prostate cancer. They are easy tests and could save your life.
And remember, men CAN get breast cancer.
Check yourselves out men !
If your not sure, ask a professional for help.

Hi Tim. Glad that Beverly will be ok and that you caught cancer early on. Best of luck and God's blessings to you both.

Hi Tim,

I'm glad that they caught it early and that Bev is going to be O.K. My thoughts and prayers are with you both. I agree that follow-ups are important.

That's great news Tim

So thankful it was detected and treated early. One of my sisters has be going through the whole ordeal of breast cancer (surgery, chemo, radiation, etc) these past couple of years. Fortunately, she has been recovering very well.

I'm very glad you and Bev did not having to go through all that.

I am very glad to hear

This for both of you.
My mother confronted a similar situation in 1987. My dad insisted she follow the doctor's rules on check-ups and follow-ups exactly.
She hated it, but he insisted and it saved her life.
Great news! All the best.

It's good to hear these stories. May the two of you have many more healthy, long and happy years ahead!
