Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support :

Super shot

When I first saw this machine being delivered to our neighbor Nancy Smith I remember seeing it uncrated on the walkway in the sun.

Then when I first saw it turned on in the basement- I about fell over! I had never seen nor imagined a whole lighted panel before !! I could barely enjoy our 1956 GE anymore- that time had passed!!

When I saw it lit up I had a big dream that night at 6 years old- I dreamt I went to the moon and found out that the silver light of the moon on all the mountains was  caused by it being illuminated by 1961 GE white light washer backsplashes, we just couldn't see the backsplashes from Earth because they were too tiny!

This is what it looked like in my dream:

Oh well, I guess that clunky old 1960 will be going to a junkyard, maybe some farmers field in the middle of , I don't know, South Dakota or something.  But it doesn't matter because-

THE NEW 1961's ARE IN STOCK AND READY FOR DELIVERY !

Consult your Yellow Pages directory and have your operator put you in touch with your local GE dealer TODAY !

Deals like this won't last long.

Thanks Louis

Great pitch there DelaneyMeegan perfect !!

Ken the bleach dispenser was a B&)*tard to rebuild but it is working and probably one of the only ones in the club working .

A word of caution on how they break. As I discovered and Greg explained to me bleach dries into salt. But when you have a gallon of bleach in there and it dries it dries into huge 1/2 inch crystals. These jam the pump and lever and if  you force the pump lever you will puncture the thin styrene plastic these are made of.

Soak for days in water before doing anything to it!! The whole bottom of mine was covered edge to edge in salt crystals.
