Oven light used to flicker, and now wont work at all.

Late 1960's Magic Chef Concept series range. The oven light never had problems, and for a few weeks it started flickering. Now it won't come on at all. I swapped the bulb with the one from the refrigerator too, so it is not the bulb. I'm thinking the push button switch may be dirty. Any suggestions?

Could be a bad light socket, switch, maybe a bad wiring connection.
