Again if one using either OxiClean or Revive with regular powder or liquid detergent both would normally supply all the surfactants, enzymes and so forth including OBA. Thus again one could simply purchase powdered sodium percarbonate neat and use it instead.
Professional laundries, laundresses, and or anyone else has been soaking laundry in oxygen bleach (sodium percarbonate, sodium perborate or hydrogen peroxide) for over one hundred years to "revive" badly stained or whatever textiles. There's no magic here nor reinventing the wheel. Just a way to get consumers to part with their money.
What always gets me is how reviewers gush on and on about how they "don't use bleach" but rave about OxiClean. Sweeties Oxiclean IS a bleach. Oxygen based instead of chlorine, but never the less it is what it is.
