Neither Oxydol's print ads nor their television ads ever showed a washing machine agitating, unlike so many other detergent ads. I loved the fragrance of Oxydol and a wonderful aunt used it in her Maytags so I loved the detergent, just wanted some action shots.
Here's one with a bit of wringer action, with no bleach but with easy rinsing.

By the way, aside from the Ma Perkins Oxydol radio spot I found, the 1949 Oxydol television ad was one of the first old detergent ads I came across thanks to Robert and Automatic Washer dot o r g. I first used Oxydol in the 1980s and loved the scent of this product from that decade better than the more recent versions prior to its phasing out.--Laundry Shark.
