I don't remember who introduced me to the stuff, was it Robert Seger, Kim Knochel, Greg Nunn or Jon Charles--------I just can't say enough for how well this "penetrant" works.

Just the other day I had ANOTHER spanner nut and spin bearing FROZEN on with rust and corrosion----you guys know the story.
I sprayed on the P.B. for a couple of days. Then armed for bear went after the spanner nut expecting a real battle. Just a tap and it came loose----amazing!

Thanks to those who introduced me to the product and I hope others will try it and find out for themselves how well it works.

Cool! PB really came in handy on the 1-18--that and the air impact wrench!

Is there a way to get it up under that stubborn Kenmore agitator cap you were talking about at the Convention?

GLEN!

The stuff has tremendous "osmotic" capability. (To use an embalmers verbage!). You can take the rustiest bolt you can find and set it head first in a tiny puddle of P.B.Blaster and after a while the Blaster will work its way ALL the way to the top! All you need is the patience to let it work! The best "Penetrant" I have every found! Thats exactly what I used to get the mechanism of my WV-65 apart!

Hi Steve

It was me and you are correct about the osmotic ability.

Glenn can you get this stuff down there, I get it at a local Auto Parts store here. I think NAPA may carry it also.

ON The pump screws I have used the "Seger Heat to Death Method" and then when they are toasted you put a perfect fit screwdriver in the head then WHACK it straght down with a hammer then immediately using a socket screwdriver you first turn to TIGHTEN--- YES TIGHTEN then immediately turn to loosen.

Good luck

Jon

I do have a can of PB. Austin sent Mother Venus to fetch it when they were here for the first stab at the WO-65. He doused the screws liberally, but being as the threads hold at the other end in the motor bell, there wasn't any effect. Maybe now that some time has passed a little of it oooooozed and osmosified up to the threads. I can douse them again, and I also have a torch to toast them, just haven't had an opportunity to do it.

We shall overcome . . . at some point in time.
