At Goodwill I noticed a chrome toaster made by Panasonic, which I thought was interesting as I didn't know Panasonic made toasters, and it also says Self Lowering. I think this must be something like the Sunbeam Automatic toasters. I did a search for one but didn't see a whole lot about it, but seems to be from about 1970.
