Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support :

I was told they were working when removed from service a couple of months ago - and they seem to work just fine in the preliminary tests.

This pair was purchased by an older couple new, sold at their estate auction 20 years ago and bought by another couple for their lake house. Used lightly, they were replaced with newer models. When they bought the set at auction, they were brought to a Maytag service man - the man I bought them from and he competely rebuilt them before they went to the lake house. He told them at the time if they ever wanted to sell them...and here they are!

I know someone who would come >>>>>this<<<<< close to killing for a pink set. Matter of fact, she asked me about something pink just yesterday afternoon. If it wasn't for the high cost of shipping.....   :-(

Very nice set Greg. Great catch! So you must have an electronic panel for the washer to switch it out then?

Well, glad that these have been rebuilt, so you you not have to do much to them. Will save you some time to scrape the frost off your car windows. <:

Heh Heh - it was so nice of Fred to mention this set during our last visit - THIS set made that whole trip worth while! This dryer is so awesome! I am so glad you made that call and saved this wonderful set. I can't wait to see a PANK pushbutton set in your basement - it will be breathtaking!

I agree Louis - this is s a funny pair - an A700 with a DE750? It must have been a spur of the moment thing - he had the 700 around and the 750, and the folks just wanted a matching color set.

So what is this, like 4 or 5 matched PANK Maytag sets on the board? I know Rick has his 141 set, I have my 142 set, Greg now has this set - any others?

Again, WOW Greg - what a save! You better lock your garage at nite - that tub looks mint! You aren't the only one who can't park in their garage ;-)

Congrats ~

Ben

We lost car access to our double car garage in Calgary about 3 years ago with all my stuff, just vacs and other stuff. I have to try and try not to let it happen again at the new place. No more clutter!! right

Wow, Kewl, I'm Avacodo GREEN with envy!

This is one of the "Beverly HillBillys" sets. I thought it was odd that one machine had a dial and other buttons.
"The panel has to go" you say.
I'm wondering, if technically, there were actually more cycle options available with the rotary dial machines back then compared to the all button models, such as being able to choose a water level.

What is the knob on the right TOP of the washer panel? kind of blends in with the metal?
