Parnall TD59 Dryer. Ebay (UK) Needs a loving home!

I've spotted a Parnall tumble dryer, identical to my recently purchased one, on Ebay (UK). It would date from c1960
They are fabulous machines, and will fit snugly under your kitchen work top!

Anyone fancy saving it?

Yes there is a 1950s model on ebay right now too, although at £200.00 I doubt that many will be queueing up for it. I am really tempted to drop him a note that, although it is from the 1950s it is not THAT rare. The one that Doug has linked to looks to be in quite good shape although again not exactly cheap - maybe the problem is that I am! LOLOLOL

Al, that 1950s one on Ebay I think is the one that I saw originally listed at £400!!!
Like you say, they are not THAT rare, and as it is, there is so little demand for these types of things. We are the select few! Lol

I paid £50 for mine as it happens, and would have paid more, but then my heart rules my walllet!

Mike, my machine is fine thanks! I've not used it much, nor done any tinkering on it, as I've been busy with other stuff, including adding to my collection of 'vintage' stuff in my own little 'working museum'!
By the way, I tried contacting you, via your email address a short while back, to notify you of a mint owners manual for the earlier model Parnall, which I saw on Ebay. I nearly put a bid on it myself, but in the end I think it went unsold.

parnall spinwasher

Does anyone have a Parnall spinwasher with the dials on the front and a sud saver? I would so like to see it in action are there any videos at all?
