I have a KitchenAid Ultra Power blender I got a few years ago from eBay. It was missing the gasket and around 2017 I looked for one on eBay. I ended up getting a non OEM part and it keeps leaving specs of black rubber in whatever I'm blending. Should've went with genuine Whirlpool.

Now though, it seems the prices have gone up and there aren't as many for sale. Are parts for these blenders getting rare or no longer in production? KitchenAid told me mine was made in 2006, it's the older style that came out in the 90s.

I remember reading that parts for the very early K-A blenders with the screw on top and pouring cap were NLA. But I don't know what the differences are, if any as to the gasket and drive coupling if there are any.

I found a K-A at Goodwill awhile back that I liked a bit better. It was like mine but a stainless steel and black model. It had a stripped rubber drive wheel though. Easily fixed if parts can be gotten cheaply.
