It's been a couple of months since the vintage Penncrest freezer was placed in the basement of the new house, and I've noticed a couple of things.

It seems to cycle more often than the '61 Ward's Tru Cold did at the other house.  I suspect there could be a couple of reasons:  the thermostat doesn't allow for much swing, or the insulation isn't as good as the Tru Cold's.  My main concern is that relays, etc. are operating more often.   It's not an issue with the magnetic door seals.  There's very little frost accumulation thus far.

The other thing is, even though the box is level, there's often a rattle from the compressor when it cycles off.  Sometimes I hear two or three rattles, sometimes barely a single rattle, sometimes no rattle.  Is it possible an isolator was compromised when the box was moved?  I don't want a wire or something to get rattled to the point that it detaches.

Any thoughts or ideas to share?
