Just bought a new toy on ebay Sunday. It is this beautiful Penncrest mixer with box.

Can anyone here tell me more about this mixer?

I do not know anything about the mixer but that 1959 buick is exactly like the one my Dad had. We called it the Mad Car.

It looks,

very much like a mid 60's Sunbeam hand mixer my Mother had. I would say it was built by Sunbeam!

Definitely a Sunbeam-from probably the early 60s. Good mixers and fun to have the box too!

They were sold under the Sunbeam name in the same colors as the stand mixers and in chrome.

and Jim, I love the 59 Buicks too, I thought the way the headlights sat gave it a mean look and kinda resembled the then popular "cat eye" glasses

Nice looking hand mixer there, even has the nylon buttons on the bottom of the beaters too! Nearly mint appearnace!

Its definately 2nd generation Sunbeam,I think they changed from the rocketship to this one in 1957.I have several in different colors,Thanks Bobby
