Help Support :

Rich you are and will be in my thoughts! You are SO much stronger and braver than I could ever imagine being for any reason really, and I pray for your quick and complete recovery. I have been told that dealing with things like this in as positive a manner as you can, which you seem to be trying very hard to do, is a really good thing. Thanks for keeping us updated, and I hope you're feeling better now than when Chuck wrote the other day. Scott

Thanks again, guys and gals.

I really should have thought to update y'all. By the end of the evening he felt well enough to go upstairs to bed. It was better and better each day after, and he went out to visit one of his patients yesterday. Whew! This should be the end until the next round. He has another bleomycin infusion this Friday (the same thing that knocked him out last Friday) but this time he's going to take the anti-nausea and antihistamine meds when they offer them! It all points to have been an allergic reaction to the bleo!

Sincerely,
Chuck

Chuck and Rich, the encouraging reports on the rapid reduction in the tumor size and relief from the pain made me think of the truth in this bit of prayer.

"O Source of Blessing you heal all flesh and work wonders."

This is a bit of wondrous healing. I will have you remembered in the mishaberach prayer for strength and a complete healing, a refuah shlema, Friday evening.

A little bit of interesting, to me, word study:
Rofeh= healer
Refuah= healing or recovery
Rofeh-El the angel who brings healing from G-d (EL) also known as Raphael.

Shlema is related to the word shalom which, in addition to peace, means wholeness or complete.

You are both in my prayers.
Best wishes,
Tom

I want to thank all of you!!!!!!

Though I haven't replied recently I have been reading the posts and it makes me so proud to be a part of such a group of caring, compassionate people. I have allways been a "the glass is half full" type of person but with all of you I feel that the glass is 3/4 full :-)

I am feeling a bit better but fatigue and some pesky aches and pains still remain. This is OK by me as long as the "cure" is working.

Thank you to all who have offered prayers. I have a very strong faith and I know that He stands with me and never gives me more than I can handle. Things happen for reasons and there are lessons to be learned in every event that happens to me. These things have happened to me before and the lessons and life changing events have been incredible!

Remember...when given lemons. Make sweet lemonade :-)

(To scott55405. Thank you for the comliment but it's not bravery. It's faith! You would be suprized at what you can handle!! You are much stronger than you think:-))

Hugs!

Rich

So glad to hear from you!

I am so glad to hear that you are feeling OK and that the treatment is going well. I am certainly thinking of you and my kids mention you in our nightly prayers.
